Terms of Service — MarginForge

1. What this is

MarginForge is an unofficial fan tool that reads public Hypixel SkyBlock market data and ranks trading opportunities. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Hypixel, Mojang or Microsoft, and it is not a Hypixel product.

2. The numbers are estimates, not advice

This is the part that matters most.

MarginForge reports what appears profitable based on prices at the moment it looked. Those prices change constantly. A margin shown here may be gone before you act on it, may reflect a listing that was already sold, or may be wrong because upstream data was wrong.

You act on these numbers at your own risk. Nothing here is a recommendation, a guarantee, or advice of any kind. In-game currency lost by acting on anything this tool showed you is not recoverable from the operator.

MarginForge deals only in Minecraft in-game currency and items. It does not handle, value or exchange anything of real-world monetary value, and nothing in it is a financial product or financial advice.

3. Accounts

Sign-in is via Discord. You are responsible for your Discord account's security. One person, one account; do not share access you have paid for.

Your account may be suspended or terminated for abusing the service — automated scraping, attempting to circumvent the paid tier, or attacking the infrastructure.

4. Free and paid access

The Bazaar, Craft, Books and Gems boards are free and complete, and will remain free.

Paid access unlocks the full Fusion and Auction House boards, which are computed by this service rather than passed through from Hypixel. Free visitors see the 4 lowest-profit rows of each; the higher-value rows require paid access. That number may change, but both boards will keep a working free version.

Subscriptions

Billed monthly through PayPal until cancelled. Cancel any time — from the Billing link on the dashboard, or under automatic payments in your own PayPal account — and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; a change never affects a period already paid for.

Lifetime purchases

A one-time payment for access for as long as MarginForge operates. There is no renewal and nothing further to pay.

"Lifetime" means the life of the service, not yours, and it is not a guarantee that the service will run for any particular length of time — see section 6. Buy on the basis of what the service is worth to you now.

Refunds

Ask within 7 days of a purchase and it will be refunded, no reason needed. Write to contact@marginforge.org from the address on the receipt, or use the contact route on the receipt itself.

Two things sit alongside this and are not displaced by it:

• Statutory rights. Consumers in the UK and EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, and other countries have their own rules. Where the law gives you more than 7 days, the law wins.
• PayPal's own terms. PayPal processes the payment, and its buyer protection and dispute rules apply alongside this refund promise. The seller is MarginForge, not PayPal.

Refunded purchases have their access revoked automatically.

5. Acceptable use

Do not: scrape or automate against this service; resell or redistribute its output as your own product; attempt to access the paid boards without paying; or interfere with its operation for others.

Rate limits apply to everyone and are not a bug.

6. Availability, and the honest disclaimer

This service is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. It is operated by one person alongside full-time study, and may be slow, unavailable, or wrong. It depends on Hypixel's API, which can change or disappear without notice, and on Hypixel's continued permission to operate.

The service may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time. To the maximum extent the law allows, the operator's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Intellectual property

Minecraft item textures and names are the property of Mojang and Microsoft. Item and recipe data comes from MIT-licensed community projects credited in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. Market data is Hypixel's.

What is licensed to you is access to the service, not to its underlying code or data.

8. Changes

Material changes will be posted with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Peru. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where they live.
